WHO HELPS SUPPORT THE LIFE AND WORK OF THE CATHEDRAL
The Cathedral receives no state funding, nor monies from any organized group for her work. It relies totally on the goodwill and commitment of its parishioners either individually in tithes, pledges and offerings, or collectively in contributions by organizations within the Church. Many parishioners support the life and work of the Cathedral through planned giving or pledges which enables the Cathedral’s administration to run her affairs in ways that enhance her social impact and numerical and spiritual growth.
Trinity Sunday School
CHILDREN ‘Sunday’ SCHOOL: Sunday school for the younger generation of the Cathedral’s family is held 1st, 2nd, & 4th Sundays. It is a program within the life of the Cathedral whose sole intention is to introduce children to the Christian faith and cultivate interest in the things of god at an early age. The idea is not to run a parallel church on a Sunday morning – one for children and the other for adults. The work of this program should be an integral part of what goes on in the Cathedral; and ways are being reviewed to reflect and integrate what they do with what we do. They usually feature at the end of the Eucharist, when they come to the altar rail for blessing. Their last ‘Flag Day’ program was attended by the President of the Republic, HE Madam Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf.
