WHO HELPS SUPPORT THE LIFE AND WORK OF THE CATHEDRAL
The Cathedral receives no state funding, nor monies from any organized group for her work. It relies totally on the goodwill and commitment of its parishioners either individually in tithes, pledges and offerings, or collectively in contributions by organizations within the Church. Many parishioners support the life and work of the Cathedral through planned giving or pledges which enables the Cathedral’s administration to run her affairs in ways that enhance her social impact and numerical and spiritual growth.
Girls Friendly Society
The Girls Friendly Society (GFS) helps to support the life and work of the Cathedral by means of a home economic class, which is bi-monthly on Saturday. Girls between the ages of 10-25 make up the membership.
