BAPTISMS: Baptisms are held on every third Sunday of the month during the regular worship service in the Cathedral or during the mid week services in the St. Andrew’s Chapel.
VISITATIONS: Regularly scheduled pastoral visitation and extended communion are carried out by the clergy to parishioners who are ailing and shut-in. Parishioners are encouraged to alert the clergy to any parishioner who might value a visit. For a list of those on our prayer list, click here.
WEDDINGS: The Cathedral encourages life long commitment between men and women in the divinely sanctioned arrangement of marriage. Those interested in this sacramental rite should consult the clergy at the earliest. It is the custom of the Cathedral to conduct counseling with spouses, and publish banns of marriage prior to the ceremony. To see some basic canonical guidelines, click here.
FUNERALS: Funeral services are occasionally held in the Cathedral. Most funeral services are Eucharistic and are preceded by wake keeping on the day before the funeral. Neither tributes nor wakekeeping is allowed during the funeral service. All tributes during funerals must be conducted in silence.
